Tamara Galeyeva (b. 1954, Sladkovo, Russia) is an art historian, critic, and curator who lives and works in Yekaterinburg. She graduated in Art History from the Ural State University in 1977 and holds a PhD in Art History. She worked at the Ural State University from 1987 until 2006, when she headed the Department of Art History and Cultural Studies at the Ural Federal University. She is the head of the Center of Contemporary Culture and B. U. Kashkin Museum, Yekaterinburg. Galeyeva is a member of the Russian Union of Artists, the Russian Association of Art Critics and the International Association of Art Critics affiliated with UNESCO. She was the recipient of Priznanie award for her contribution to the history of Yekaterinburg (2014) and V. N. Tatishev and G. V. Gennin Award granted by Yekaterinburg Administration for achievement in education, culture and art (2016).
